CAMEL FESTIVAL GREAT GOBI MONGOLIA TOUR 5 DAYS

In this Mongolia trip you will be able to participate the only one Camel riding festival in the world held in Great Gobi. There you will be able to see the two humped camels and nomad people. You can ride camel as well. This is one of the largest local festival which organized every beginning of March since 2010, in purpose of increasing two humped camel population and show its culture to the world. This is a great chance to see the Great Gobi and Mongolian winter as well.

Itinerary

05.March, Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Afternoon arrival by flight to Ulaanbaatar. Dinner at the local famous traditional restaurant. Transfer to the HS resort hotel 50km. Overnight in hotel. (D)

06.March, Day 2: Camel festival

After early morning breakfast at the hotel we drive to airport to catch a flight to South Gobi region. After 1.5 hours flight we arrive at Dalanzadgad large town. There our driver will pick you up and deliver to the tourist camp appx 40km. After having a lunch we drive to the place 10-15km where the only one camel riding festival in world is held. There you will see the gorgeous camel parade with traditional clothed herders on. And following many exciting events will be held. In the evening come back to the camp and overnight. (B, L, D)

07.March, Day 3: South Gobi desert

After having breakfast we also participate the second day of the camel festival. On the festival there are also the local products are shown such as warm camel wool socks and souvenirs, dairy products. Afternoon visit nomadic family of the great Gobi desert. Watch their everyday life and wonderful talk through translation. In the evening return to camp for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

08.March, Day 4: Ulaanbaatar city

In the morning we head towards Dalanzadgad to fly back to Ulaanbaatar. After arrival lnch at famous traditional cuisine restaurant. Free time of shopping. Overnight in the Hotel. (B,L,D)

09.March, Day 5: International flight
Transfer to the airport for flight (B)

Accommodation: We choose the best partners in order to attain best outcome. Every year we personally check our partner hotels and tourist camps to ensure they are maintaining the standard of service. Depending on your preference we offer various 3 to 5 star hotels and guest houses. Tourist camps are all equipped with shower and toilet, 2 to 4 PAX per Ger and restaurants.

Meals: While your stay in Ulaanbaatar there are plenty of choices among Mongolian traditional, European, Indian and Asian cuisine restaurants. During your travel along the countryside tourist camps will serve with standard breakfast and meals of beef, rice and vegetables. If you are vegetarian or require Halal food we also able to organize your special need of food in Mongolia.

Transport: Our vehicles are prepared to travel on Mongolian road. We use variety of air-conditioned, four wheel drive vehicles and bus. The average mileage you will drive per day in Mongolian tour is 180 to 220 kilometers. Our vehicles include Land cruiser, Delica 2, Russian Van, Bus.

Guide: We arrange English, French, Russian and German speaking Mongolian guide on your Mongolian trip. Depending on the tour our special experienced guide will serve you a meal while stay in tent.
