Mountain bike tour in Khan Khentii wilderness (4 days)

This Mongolian trip lead to an area of outstanding natural beauty with its cloudless skies and amazing virgin horizons, this fertile land which is home to many indigenous species including elk, wild boar, wolf, antelope, musk deer and marmot. The final destination of this Mongolia tour is Princess Camp where you will spend a day riding horse and mountain biking nearby Khan Khentii Mountains and visit Princess temple Mongolian historical sightseeing. The area is perfect for those who love cycle through a bit challenging roads.

Itinerary

Day 1: Terelj national park

In the after having breakfast we the town and heat to east, along the Terelj road, the only real settlement located inside the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (65 km). Turtle Rock and the dinosaur statues are the famous stop by attractions in Terelj. The park is famous destination for the local and tourists to spend their weekend, the closest beautiful nature area. But we will drive further to Khan Khentii protected wilderness around 11:30 start the biking tour and cycle to Baruun-Bayan. Picnic lunch served on the way. Arrive in the Princess Lodge and relax in national GER camp. Spend rest of the day, enjoy the stunning area and having sauna and shower.

Day 2: Khan Khentii protected area, Princess temple cycling tour

After breakfast , cycle to Princess temple 8kms through spectacular valleys and across small rivers valley which surrounded by high–eroded rock formations of the Khan Khentii Mountains. Cafe and lunch break in the way as a picnic at the chosen spectacular spot. Visit the ruins of Princess Temple which was built in 1740. Arrive in Princess Lodge late afternoon.

Day 3: Cycling tour to white Stupa

After a tasty nice breakfast at Lodge, we will cycle to White Stupa which is north east of Princess Lodge. There you have a great opportunity to take remarkable photos. The White Stupa is top of the hill, which is an amazing spot to see the Khan Khentii area. Lunch served by picnic brake. Late afternoon arrive in Lodge, today you have many activities to participate at the camp. You will attend the bonfire in the evening and play traditional game as well.

Day 4: Visit Nomadic Family and visit Great Chinggis Khaan’s statue

After breakfast cycling to nomadic family and watch their everyday life and animals. You will meet your vehicle and finish cycling tour after visiting nomad family. Lunch will be served as a picnic. Then we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar, en route visit Chinggis Khaan’s statue in Tsonjin Boldog place or we will directly drive to UB passing by Terelj in your concern. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, transport to selected Hotel.

Depending on your preference we offer various 3 to 5 star hotels and guest houses. Tourist camps are all equipped with shower and toilet, 2 to 4 PAX per Ger and restaurants.

During your travel along the countryside tourist camps will serve with standard breakfast and meals of beef, rice and vegetables. If you are vegetarian or require Halal food we also able to organize your special need of food in Mongolia.

Transport: Our vehicles are prepared to travel on Mongolian road. We use variety of air-conditioned, four wheel drive vehicles and bus. The average mileage you will drive per day in Mongolian tour is 180 to 220 kilometers. Our vehicles include land cruiser, Delica 2, Russian Van, Bus.
